Women's guild of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Tacoma, Wash.; founded in 1891. It appears not to have begun keeping minutes of its meetings until Sept. 1894. The women met weekly at various member's homes and engaged in a variety of projects, including sewing dresses for "the home" and making quilts for a raffle in order to raise funds for various guild projects and the church.
